Revenue Leadership for Founder Led Companies
Rob Spalding steps inside founder led services and manufacturing companies and takes over the revenue side. He finds what's holding growth back, builds the sales operation the business never had time to build, and runs it until it works without him.
Owner operated companies, roughly $2M to $10M in revenue.
If two or more of those sound like your week, that's the
conversation.
He isn't an advisor who hands you a plan and leaves you to run it. He takes
the revenue side of the business and owns it, working inside your company
alongside your people.
Before anything gets built, Rob goes through your pipeline,
pricing, close rates, and margins to find where the money is
actually being lost. It's usually not where owners think it is.
A real process from first contact to signed deal, with the
numbers, the follow up, and the accountability written down so
it doesn't live in your head anymore.
Rob works with the team you have, figures out who can carry
the number, and coaches them into it. When a seat is
genuinely wrong, he'll tell you straight.
The goal is a revenue engine your team runs after Rob leaves.
If the business still needs him in a year, the work didn't get
finished.
Four stages, in order. Rob will tell you at each one whether it makes sense
to keep going.
Thirty minutes with Rob, not a salesperson. You describe what's stuck. He tells
you whether it's a problem he's solved before and what he'd want to look at first.
A fixed scope review of your pipeline, pricing, sales team, and numbers. You get a
written picture of what's holding growth back and what it would take to fix it. This
stands on its own, whether or not you go further.
Rob comes inside the business on a set schedule and runs the revenue side.
Process built, team coached, numbers reported to you every week. Scope and
length are agreed up front.
Your team takes it over with the process documented and the reporting in place.
Rob steps back to a lighter check in, or steps out.
Different industries, same job every time. No sales operation, then one
that works, then a number that moves.
Cyclyx is a New Hampshire based plastics and chemical recycling company. When Rob
came in, revenue was zero. Not slow. Zero. He didn't start by hiring a sales team. He
started by getting clear on who actually needed what had been built and why anyone
would move first, then built the path to reach those people, then hired against it. Market
first, then the route to it, then the people.
Revenue
Raised
Rob launched the company's institutional channel from zero and brought in the first 40
clients personally. Then he hired and managed the inside sales team, and built the call
metrics that told everyone what a good week looked like. He became the person who
trained every new East Coast hire. Five years later the company was acquired.
Assets under custody
In the channel he started
Rob went after a corner of commercial real estate the big institutional players ignored,
and built the whole thing on a referral network of CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors,
and family offices. Year one did $25M in transactions. By the end it was over $200M in
transaction, construction, and solar volume, and he was a top producer.
Growth in Volume
Cumulative volume
Brought in to rebuild the business plan and stand up the commercial operation. Rob
designed the partner acquisition strategy from scratch, put sales KPIs in place, moved
the company onto a new CRM, and launched partner onboarding and certification.

"Rob was a critical component to forge the relationship
between our two companies. He was able to navigate a difficult
landscape to ensure both companies' business needs were
met. Rob's expertise laid the foundation for future workstreams
and growth between us. He truly was a pleasure to work with."

Rob Spalding
Rob has spent his career on the revenue side of businesses, in manufacturing, financial services, real estate, and industrial operations. He's started sales channels from zero, hired and trained the people who ran them, and carried a number himself. Since 2018 he's done that work for a small number of B2B clients at a time through Growth House Partners.
He works with a small number of companies at a time, and he does the work himself. When you hire Growth House Partners, Rob is who shows up.
Thirty minutes, straight answer. If it isn't a problem he can solve,
he'll say so on the call.
